Tatra Trucks
 Vectra
manufactures Tatra trucks through its
subsidiary Tatra Trucks India Limited.
The
manufacturing plant is located in Hosur,
Tamil Nadu, around 35 kms from Bangalore.
The fully integrated manufacturing facility
includes an engine assembly and testing
plant, a cabin welding shop, a frame
fabrication shop and a test track.
 Tatra
trucks are based on the unique "Tatra
Design" featuring a spine tube frame
with a covered central tube carrying the
drive line and independently swinging
half-axles. Tatra “Hemang” and
“T-815” dump trucks have a significant
presence in the construction and mining
sectors and are running successfully in the
harshest of terrains across India.
