Tanax
Tanax, before 1990, was part of
Tatra a.s., where it produced the
famous swinging axles, for the
Tatra truck range which have have
became the trucks trademark
globally. In 1990, the company was
spun off to the newly independent
Slovak government and in 1993 it
underwent privatisation.
It now produces a range of
products from axles, transmissions
and powertrains which are exported
to a host of automotive
engineering companies globally.
