Vectra Group consists of diverse companies operating in various business domains across the world. The core businesses of the group are aviation, engineering, material handling and construction equipment, automotive, real estate, information technology, and the services sector. The operations of Vectra Group are primarily in India and Eastern Europe, spanning more than 18 companies, with eight manufacturing facilities in four countries (India, the UK, Czech Republic, and Slovakia). In addition, Vectra Group has offices and/or investments in France, Russia, Singapore, and Hungary. Today, the Vectra team comprises more than 4,500 people around the globe, led by a dynamic and entrepreneurial management.
The second Key People Conference of Vectra Group was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 13 to16 October 2010. This provided an excellent opportunity for colleagues from all over the world to meet, to discuss common strategies pertaining to the legal, financial, human resources, communication, and marketing sectors, and to learn more about the achievements of the Vectra Group companies.
Mr Ravi Rishi, Chairman of Vectra Group, described the achievements made since the first KPC in Prague in 2008. He stated that Vectra Group has:
- become a highly diversified group, with a presence in various sectors of industry and trade;
- joined hands with various industries as joint ventures and marketing cooperation;
Swati Rishi, Director of Vectra Group, added that since 2008, Vectra Group has a new partnership with Kamaz of Russia; Vectra Auto Components Private Limited and Fainsa have merged with Vectra Advanced Engineering; and Integrated Helicopter Services is now operating in Greater Noida, near Delhi, for the MRO. Ms Rishi announced that the new goal for the company members until the next KPC in 2012 will be to penetrate new markets, a task which shall be facilitated by Vectra Group offices around the world. |
