Offroad Trucks Australia was incorporated and registered in 2003 by Larry Gill as the Australian partner/dealer for Tatra a.s.

Bringing Tatra Trucks to Australia initially presented many problems as the homologation for complying with Australian design regulations had not been completed. Moreover, vehicles at the time were only manufactured with left-hand drive (Australia is RHD).

However, with strong support and cooperation from Tatra, these problems were resolved and rapid progress was made. We anticipate sales for 2011 to be more than 100 trucks.

We are very proud of our achievement. Not only did we bring an European truck company to Australia, but we also succeeded in carving out a serious market share in the all-wheel-drive vehicle sector.

Our head office is in Perth, Western Australia. We also have a major branch in Brisbane, Queensland.

Not only do we manufacture and sell a wonderful and reliable product, but we also carry 100 per cent spare parts and provide 24/7 maintenance and mechanical support. And that is the secret of our success.

Offroad Trucks Australia is now introducing the Heman Skid Steer to Australia. We hope to enjoy the same success as we did with Tatra Trucks.
