 Vectra
in India has partnered with the Azad Group
in a joint venture in India for the
manufacture of automotive superstructures,
such as truck bodies and cabins for the
Indian and export markets. To expand
business opportunities in other countries
Vectra and Azad have incorporated, Vectra
Azad Limited UK, to be their joint
investment vehicle for such overseas
ventures. The first such venture proposed is
Trans Continental Industries LLC, Abu Dhabi,
U.A.E. a bus body building operation in
partnership with the Bin Jabr Group, the
representative of Tatra trucks in the
Emirates.
